PITZER COLLEGE PRESIDENT'S RESIDENCE

LGLA worked in tandem with Kelly Sutherlin McLeod Architecture to re-envision the 1919 Pitzer President’s House. The home, which is a private residence and venue for fundraising, was stripped of additions that were incompatible with its historic Claremont neighborhood. LGLA provided a new accessible walkway and a flexible layout of the rear garden that accommodates large events. The house is the first single-family residence in Claremont to receive LEED Certification.
