GARDEN ON THE ARROYO

The expansion and renovation of this arroyo home provided the opportunity to create a series of outdoor rooms. Each room accommodates a different activity, has a special theme and a distinct plant palette. The sound of water connects each space and brings the gardens to life, with visiting dragonflies and birds. The colorful flowers, whimsical sculpture and eclectic furnishings express the owner’s love of drama and surprise. The garden was the recipient of a 2010 Golden Arrow Award from Pasadena Beautiful.
